As I typed today’s title, I realize that these guidelines apply to more than just the world of “school.” You can use them anywhere that you have a tendency to face pressure to over-commit and the potential of wearing out from it. There is a way to volunteer without getting overwhelmed, and in today’s post, you’ll discover a verse with amazing insight and read 10 Tips for Choosing How to Volunteer.
I haven’t decided what boxes to check on the “blue sheet” my kids brought home from their high school this week, but I’ve learned the hard way to have some plans in mind to guide my commitments. Today I’m sharing “How to Volunteer Without Wearing Out” over at The Mom Initiative. Join me there for some helpful tips AND the chance to enter to win 1 of 3 giveaways!

I just wanted to say thank you for all the tips and encouragement you provide! I look forward to reading everything you write. Oh, and my ideas for naming Friday’s is “Friday feast” or “fabulous food Friday”! 😉

Thank you for that encouragement Bethany. It really helps to know if/how God uses what I write; I always pray it comes from Him … even the food. 😉 I want to use my time well, and it helps me to know if I’m on track. Most of all, I want Him to be glad with it. I’m really happy it’s helpful for you and love having you as one of my readers. I’m getting AWESOME ideas for the Friday food feature … that isn’t one of the ideas. 😉 I’ll add yours to the list! We may need to vote!
