Feed Me Friday
4 Thing Quiche could not be easier, but it’s hearty enough to call it a meal. You’ll need to decide on 4 things that will be the base of your quiche, and you can even find a way to use some of your week’s leftovers, like I did!
4 Thing Quiche
- 1 c. meat (chopped ham, cooked/chopped bacon, cooked/crumbled sausage, cooked/crumbled ground beef)
- 1 c. white veggie (cooked potato diced or chopped onion sauteed in a little butter)
- 1 c. green veggie (cooked broccoli, cooked/drained spinach, sauteed chopped green pepper)
- 1 c. shredded cheese of your choice.
Wet ingredients
4 eggs
1 c. half and half
- I used chopped ham left over from Wednesday night, roasted/diced potato left over from Tuesday night, cooked/chopped broccoli left over from Wednesday night, and Mexican blend cheese.
- Use a frozen (or knock yourself and make your own!) pie crust. Combine the 4 Things and pile them in the crust. Sprinkle on some salt and pepper to taste, and if you want to add herbs, this is when you do it. This is not a science, which is part of the fun of “4 Thing Quiche!”
- Next, mix your liquids and carefully pour over the solids, using a fork to move the ingredients around and let the wet ingredients completely soak in.
- Cover a cookie sheet with foil (in case it spills over … it’s full) and place the quiche on the center.
- Bake 4 Thing Quiche at …. 400 degrees for 44 minutes! Do you hear a theme here???? Check it the last 14 minutes or so and put a piece of foil over it if it’s browning too quickly.
- Remove from the oven and let it set on the stove top for about 15-30 minutes.
- Enjoy this with a green or fruit salad, and let it take center stage for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There are endless ways to make this quiche to suit your time, ingredients, and guests!
Jeff had 4 things to say about 4 Thing Quiche:
- “Wow! This is great!”
- “This is awesome Jul.”
- “I’m going to get another piece.”
- “The only bad thing about this quiche is that I need to eat a lot of it.”
What’s on your menu for the weekend?

Your quiche pic is beautiful! Do I thaw the frozen crust first? Thanks 🙂

My crusts directions said not to (I used Marie Callender’s), so I just used it frozen. So simple.

It’s as good as it looks but so easy. Can’t go wrong!
