Teaching plans for Romania Ministry Week

I’m in blog limbo right now, because I’m trying to do the last 50 things on my to-do list before I leave Friday for Romania! I’ll be speaking at a Women’s Leadership Conference. This combines some of my most favorite things:  teaching God’s word, mentoring leaders, working with women, traveling, cross-cultural ministry, and even serving with a dear friend. It does require, though, that I leave 3 of my other favorite things … Jeff, Jo, Jake …. so I’m trying to get things ready to “leave them well.”

The leaders will be meeting at a chalet up in the beautiful Transylvanian Mountains, overlooking hills dotted with with sheep and shrouded in mist. Some of you have asked for my teaching schedule, so I want to share that here, and I would love it if you would lift us up while we serve. My sweet friend Tara is going with me as a partner and companion to minister to the sweet group of women. You’ll see key scripture listed beside the title of each session.  Our theme is “Refreshing our Faith.”

Friday ~ Depart and head over the Atlantic (Don’t worry … not flying American Airlines :))
Saturday ~ Arrive in Munich, Germany for an overnight layover.
Sunday ~ Fly to Sibiu, Romania and drive up into the mountains to Alpinis.
Monday ~ Welcome women to the Leadership Conference.

Wednesday ~

• Session 5: A Promising Answer to a Big Question (Galatians 3:15-29)
• Session 6: The Anguish of Ministry (Galatians 4:8-20)
• Session 7: Free, Firm and Fruitful (Galatians 4:21-31, 5:1-15)
• Session 8: Special Session

Thursday

• Session 9: Women Who do Good (Galatians 6:1-10)
• Session 10: Ministry is to Die For (Galatians 6:11-18)
