Happy Monday, CHP friends!
In just 3 weeks from today, I will be touching down on the other side of the world with my favorite travel and serving partner, my husband Jeff. We have been invited to speak at a conference for a very special group of overseas workers and their national partners. Our hearts are quite full as we prepare ourselves and our messages for this upcoming time. I covet your prayers as we ask God to use us to bring encouragement, inspiration, and practical help to those we will serve.
Honestly … I’m feeling very small and like I just need some extra time to clear away any distractions, listen to the Lord, dig deep and long into His Word, and focus. A little bit of fasting, a little bit of sabbath, a lot of slow and quiet. I our ministry life, I’ve found that “small” is a good place to be. From our past opportunities to minister overseas (we LOVE this!!) we know that when the potential is great, the opposition usually is too. Maybe that’s part of what motivated last week’s Marriage Monday. So I’m going to take a week “off” here and plan to be back next week as the Lord allows. If the quiet here brings me to your mind this week, I would love it if you would pray.
