I’m really glad you’re here. I know your time is precious, so I hope this online stop is helpful to your real life when you drop by. More than anything, my purpose is to help people find the peace they’re meant to know and share with others.
I believe we’re supposed to know God’s deep peace to help us face the stuff of life, so that’s the focus here. Getting real peace, so we can share it with people around us in our homes, work places, neighborhoods, churches, and world.
I’m a sojourning Southerner who lives in the Northwest where the tumbleweeds fly past the juniper trees. Married to my husband Jeff for over three decades, we love to travel together and mentor leaders, develop compassion works, and support cross-cultural partnerships. We have two grown kids on their own adventures of engaging diverse people.
I believe we’re supposed to know God’s deep peace to help us face the stuff of life.
Julie Sanders
As a communicator, leader, and teacher, I love sharing stories of people and how they intersect with God’s story. I especially enjoy creating truth-filled, practical tools for the needs of people. I’m the author of The ABCs of Praying for Students and Expectant: 40 Devotions for New and Expectant Moms. One of our favorite Sanders family stories is published in Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Multitasking Mom’s Survival Guide. I’m blessed to be a mentor mom with the Moms Together ministry and have contributed to the prayer journal series of the Million Praying Moms. I love working on teams, so you’ll find lots of places where I’ve contributed to devotionals, websites and books bringing together groups of writers who inspire me.
If you read something here and think we would make great partners for an event, let me know. Sometimes, you can find me on Instagram and Facebook (and occasionally on Twitter).
My favorite thing to write about is the peace God means for us to find and share with others who need to find it too.
