Please Forgive My Blog Posts Blooper

Friends, I’m so sorry that you probably got a pile of old-ish blog posts in your inbox from me. That was a MISTAKE. I was taking care of some site maintenance and mistakenly re-published a handful of “vintage” blog posts.

Can you believe I’ve been publishing blogging since before 2009?!?

The good news? You just got one of my favorite recipes for homemade rolls.
The bad news? After months of quiet here, you received a BLOOPER not a BLESSING.

Thank you for the grace. It may not surprise you to hear that the website mistake pretty much sums up my Monday. Blog Post Blooper. — Can you relate? Thankfully, my big sister called me to say, “What’s with the parade of old blog posts hitting my inbox?”

Perhaps this is why God has been massaging a particular passage from 1 Peter 5 into my heart and mind for the last week.

All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Bloopers are humbling. Thankfully, God loves humble. And all the anxiety of our Mondays can go on His caring shoulders.
